Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our Client, Vertas, for a Treasury Assistant on a temporary basis.
Duties:
- Daily cash posting and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
- Company card management, including reviewing monthly statements, coding transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Processing supplier payments, preparing payment runs (e.g., BACS), issuing remittances, and liaising with suppliers to resolve queries.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in Banking and Finance roles is advantageous.
- Finance qualifications are advantageous, and we are open to considering postgraduate candidates.
- Proficient in using MS365 packages, including Teams, Outlook and Excel.
- Commitment to work onsite full time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Attention to detail and initiative to investigate discrepancies.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
