The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Pay Rate: £13 per hour PAYE

Location: Onsite, based at Friars Bridge Road, Ipswich, IP1 1RR

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm with 30 minute unpaid break, Monday - Friday.

Duration: Temporary basis, 6 months with potential to extend.

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our Client, Vertas, for a Treasury Assistant on a temporary basis.

Duties:

  • Daily cash posting and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
  • Company card management, including reviewing monthly statements, coding transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Processing supplier payments, preparing payment runs (e.g., BACS), issuing remittances, and liaising with suppliers to resolve queries.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in Banking and Finance roles is advantageous.
  • Finance qualifications are advantageous, and we are open to considering postgraduate candidates.
  • Proficient in using MS365 packages, including Teams, Outlook and Excel.
  • Commitment to work onsite full time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to detail and initiative to investigate discrepancies.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently.
