**Payroll & Pensions Specialist** **Location:** Ipswich Hybrid **Hours:** 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday **Salary:** £28k-£32k doe We are seeking for an experienced **Payroll & Pensions Specialist** to join our friendly and professional Payroll and Pensions team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality payroll and pension services to our customers. **Key Responsibilities*** Manage a portfolio of end-to-end monthly payrolls* Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and within agreed deadlines* Administer pension processing including Auto Enrolment, AVCs, Local Government and Teacher Pension Schemes.* Process pension joiners, leavers, transfers, retirements, and in-service changes* Reconcile payroll and pension data and produce accurate reports* Liaise with HMRC, pension providers, finance teams, and other stakeholders* Investigate and resolve complex payroll and pension queries* Support audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives**About You*** Proven experience in payroll processing and pension administration* Strong knowledge of LGPS and Teachers' Pension Scheme (highly desirable)* Experience using payroll systems (iTrent knowledge highly desirable)* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills* High attention to detail and strong Excel skills* CIPP qualification (desirable)**What We Offer*** Competitive salary dependent on experience* Hybrid working* Ongoing training and career development* Supportive and collaborative team culture* Wellbeing, financial, and retail benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
