We are seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to join a Local Authority Property Services team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. Flexible working arrangements are available, with both part-time and full-time applicants considered. This is a hybrid role, with office attendance required as needed. Some weeks may involve up to 3 days in the office, while others may require none. Occasional local site visits around Kidderminster may be required.
The Role
You will be responsible for a broad range of estate and asset management duties across the Council's operational, investment, and non-operational property portfolio. This includes landlord and tenant matters, valuations, acquisitions, disposals, lettings, and general estates management.

- Experience working within Local Government.
- Strong background in estate management and valuations.
- Experience managing a mixed property portfolio.
- Knowledge of commercial and industrial estates.
- Understanding of landlord & tenant matters, lettings, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with legal, finance, and wider stakeholder teams.
