Are you passionate about catering, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our Catering Team.
About the Role:
Based at Chilwell Comprehensive, NG9 5AL, you will be working 10:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality catering services and ensuring excellent customer care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Washing up and cleaning catering equipment and work areas.
- Assisting with stock rotation and storage procedures.
- Following Health and Safety and food safety requirements at all times.
- Providing excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
- Supporting the wider catering team to ensure smooth day to day operations.
