Location: Oldbury (Hybrid working)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Do you enjoy using your finance skills to help organisations make better decisions, and want your work to genuinely matter? We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our client, supporting services that make a real difference to the community across Sandwell.

What you will be doing:

  • You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, helping them understand their budgets and make the most of available funding.
  • You will also lead and support a small team, making sure payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Your role will include:
  • Producing clear, useful budget monitoring and management accounts
  • Supporting budget holders with advice, insight and financial guidance
  • Leading the annual budget-setting and business planning process
  • Improving financial processes and controls within Oracle Financials
  • Helping the organisation maximise income and funding opportunities
  • Managing and developing the Payments Team
  • Shaping and embedding financial policies and procedures

What we are looking for:

You do not need to tick every box, but ideally you will:

  • Be CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA qualified
  • Be confident using Excel to analyse and explain data
  • Have some experience of managing or supporting staff
  • Care about improving outcomes

Working pattern:

37 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm

Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Hybrid working, with at least 2 days per week in the office
