Are you passionate about cleaning, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Cleaner in Charge to join our Facilities Team.

About the Role: Based at Becket RC Comprehensive, NG2 7QY, you will be working 1:15pm to 5:40pm, Monday to Friday, 22 hours per week, 42 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while leading the on-site cleaning team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and supporting cleaning colleagues to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Carrying out routine cleaning duties to a high standard.
  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
  • Managing cleaning schedules and overseeing daily tasks.
  • Monitoring stock levels and ordering cleaning materials when required.
  • Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
  • Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
