Catering Assistant ManagerWe are seeking a motivated and organised Catering Assistant Manager to join our busy campus café team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for great service to support the smooth day-to-day running of our catering operation. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing café operations, including pricing, rota planning, staff cover, and resolving day-to-day issues. You will support the training of new starters, ensuring team members are confident in customer service, basic cooking tasks, and café standards. Managing staff holidays, wish lists, and progression chats will also form part of your responsibilities, alongside recruitment and ongoing staff development. You will handle catering banking, ad-hoc charges, stock ordering, and supplies management to keep the café running efficiently. Attention to detail will be key, as you will also support with document control, updating procedures, and note-taking, while working closely with the LC to ensure compliance.
