Pay: £13.05 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (1 hour lunch break)

Location: Coventry City Council, Earl Street, CV1 5RR (Hybrid working)

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Coventry City Council for an experienced Administrative Officer to join their busy Electoral Services team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused administrator to support the delivery of key council services. Following an initial office-based training period, the role will offer hybrid working arrangements.

Your typical duties in this role will be:

  • Processing and managing applications and records in line with established procedures and guidance notes
  • Accurately updating and maintaining records and databases
  • Handling incoming emails and telephone enquiries from members of the public, providing a high standard of customer service and resolving queries where appropriate
  • Liaising with internal departments and council employees to resolve queries and provide information
