Job Description
7.5 Tonne Food Pod Driver / HGV Driver
Pay: £16.35 PAYE or £20.79 Umbrella per hour
Length: Ongoing
Location: Kettering
Shifts: 6.30am start with 4.30pm finish (sometimes earlier)
Tuesday to Friday (possible overtime on Mondays)
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for 7.5 Tonne Food Pod Driver to temporarily join their busy team within Waste services.
Main duties are driving a Food pod vehicle; there will be a requirement to load/empty food pods as well, ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and tidy. If you are looking to work additional hours, there's also opportunity for Overtime if you are willing to load. Overtime is paid at x1.5 rate.
If you are a HGV driver, you could be required to work across the whole service, but 7.5 Tonne is fine.
Post is offered on ongoing basis, 37 hours per week with opportunity for overtime on Mondays.
Interviews will be held face to face with a short driving test.
