About the Role
Suffolk County Council is seeking an experienced and driven Team Manager to lead our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a pivotal leadership role where you will coordinate safeguarding decision-making at the front door of children’s services, ensuring timely and effective responses to concerns. As Team Manager, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team, working in close partnership with key agencies including police, health, and education, to protect vulnerable children and young people. Location: Landmark House, Ipswich
Rate: 45.50 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2/3 days in the office

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and supervision to a team of Social Workers and practitioners within the MASH.
- Make timely, defensible management decisions in line with the Suffolk Thresholds Document and statutory guidance.
- Oversee screening, triage, and risk assessment of all incoming safeguarding referrals.
- Ensure high-quality practice standards, with robust recording and clear decision-making.
- Drive performance management, ensuring KPIs and service targets are met.
- Lead on quality assurance activities, including audits, reflective supervision, and continuous service improvement.
- Promote effective multi-agency collaboration, working closely with partners.
