Job Title: Stores Assistant (Warehouse Worker) Location: North Northamptonshire Council Salary: £14.60 per hour Assignment length: 14/03/25 About Us: Opus People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for a dedicated and reliable Stores Assistant to join our team and support our operations. This is a temporary role up until mid-March. As a Stores Assistant, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods and materials, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities: – Receive and check incoming goods against delivery notes. – Store items in the appropriate locations and maintain accurate inventory records. – Pick and pack orders for delivery to various departments. – Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management. – Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized. – Operate warehouse equipment as necessary – Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets.
