Opus People Solutions on behalf of Northampton Childrens Trust are currently seeking an Agency Kinship Social Worker to join their team.
Length of assignment: 12 Months
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate: £35
Location: Northampton Childrens Trust - NN1 1ED
Remote/Office based: Hybrid - High percentage of the work is taken remotely, but includes once monthly team meetings at OAS and other days to cover duty and for induction.
Responsibilities include:
- To undertake Initial Viability Assessments (IVAs) and full Kinship fostering and SGO assessments.
- To supervise temporarily approved Kinship foster carers.
- To undertake duty sessions periodically.
- To work alongside colleagues in the Kinship Assessment Team to support and represent the work of the team to other NCT colleagues and other professionals.
