Opus People Solutions is seeking an interim Senior Procurement Business Partner to provide strategic leadership within the Assets and Investment Team. This critical role will deliver high-quality commercial and procurement support, driving key initiatives to meet Directorate goals while aligning with broader organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement strategic procurement and commissioning activities to achieve cost-effective, value-driven outcomes.
  • Oversee a £700,000 budget, ensuring financial efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Drive procurement strategies that deliver value for money, cost savings, and social value benefits.
  • Manage large-scale, complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legislation, and organisational standards.
  • Deputise for the Head of Assets and Investments at meetings and events.
