Northamptonshire Children's Trust is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Multi-Agency Exploitation Hub. This is a vital service supporting young people identified as being at high risk of exploitation, ensuring a coordinated and effective multi-agency response.
Hybrid Working: 3 days office-based
About the Role
As Team Manager, you will provide direct line management to 6 Advanced Practitioners who work jointly with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable young people. You will play a central role in shaping and overseeing the strategic and operational response to exploitation across the county.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Advanced Practitioners within the Exploitation Hub.
- Oversee and coordinate multi-agency responses for young people at high risk of exploitation.
- Provide locality social work teams with expert advice, guidance, and support on exploitation cases.
- Ensure effective mapping of risk indicators, patterns, and community hot spots.
- Strengthen joint working with police, health, education, and community partners.
- Maintain high standards of practice, performance, and safeguarding.
Requirements
- Previous experience working specifically in an Exploitation Hub, Youth Justice team, or contextual safeguarding service.
- Qualified Social Work Degree.
- Social Work England Registration.
- Experience delivering training or practice development to teams.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice.
- 3 Years post qualifying experience.
