About the Role
Our Children in Care Team oversees all children in care across Northamptonshire, including those subject to legal proceedings and those with long‑term care plans. We focus on building meaningful relationships with young people, their families, and carers to ensure effective planning for every child's future. This is a fast‑paced, rewarding role where you'll:
- Conduct clear, accurate assessments.
- Coordinate multi‑agency approaches.

You’ll work closely with colleagues in the Leaving Care Service and external partners to deliver positive outcomes for children and families.
About You
- Qualified, registered Social Worker with completed ASYE.
- Experienced in court work and confident attending hearings independently.
- Passionate about delivering best practice and supporting children, young people, and families.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Skilled in analysis and decision‑making to deliver purposeful social care.
