About the Role:
- Based around the Newark area (Mobile Role – Own Transport Required) Gunthorpe, Newark, Mansfield etc.
- You will be working 20 hours per week, Mon - Fri 9.30am - 1.30 (Flexibility around times needed) 39.2 Weeks per year.
- You’ll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of nutritious meals and compliance with food safety standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
- Prepare and serve meals to pupils and staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Order stock and manage budgets effectively
- Supervise and support kitchen staff
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
