Are you passionate about safety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated School Minibus Driver to join our Passenger Transport Team.

About the Role: Based at Unit 40 Fred Castle Way, Rougham Industrial Estate, IP30 9ND, you will be working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, with split shifts: approximately 06:30 – 09:00 and 14:30 – 17:00. You’ll play a key role in providing safe and reliable home-to-school transport for children, including those with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transporting children from home to school and back
- Ensuring pupils are collected and dropped off securely and punctually
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
- Following safeguarding and duty-of-care procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
- Valid West Suffolk Private Hire Licence (or willingness to obtain one)
- Professional, reliable, and caring approach
- Previous driving or customer service experience desirable
- Enhanced DBS check is required – if you do not currently hold one, must be willing to obtain it
- If you do not currently hold a Private Hire Licence, successful applicants must agree to a training bond
