Pay: Β£18.35 - Β£19.81 PAYE or Umbrella Β£23.40 - Β£25.26 per hour
Location: Lowestoft depot / Lowestoft area
Length: 6 months
Working hours: 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm Mon-Thursday and Friday 8.00am-3.30pm
Main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering the repair and maintenance to the council's tenants.
- Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), installations, servicing, repairs and rewires of domestic properties.
- Testing of three phase supplies.
- Delivering a first-time fix service, ensuring minimal disruption to our residents and providing outstanding customer care and quality of performance.
- To be fully conversant with all aspects of electrical works in both 230v and 400v.
To be successful you must possess:
- Experience of initial verification, fault finding inspection and testing of domestic properties.
- General building and domestic maintenance experience.
- An understanding of the current regulations and a focus to always remain compliant.
- Awareness of, and ability to follow safe working procedures.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a friendly manner with professional attitude and effective communication skills.
- You will enjoy working as part of a team, whilst also being able to work unsupervised.
Qualifications:
- City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 or equivalent
- City and Guilds 17th Edition
- City and Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection or equivalent
- Asbestos training
- Full driving license
