Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of East Suffolk Council for an experienced Business Support Administrator to assist with the delivery of the Safe Suffolk Renters project within the Council's Private Sector Housing department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Face to face, telephone, mail and e-mail contact with service users and partners, providing advice on detailed matters related to the service.
- To arrange team meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes.
- To be responsible for the administrative processing of householder information for a range of different grants and service requests including the data entry, scanning, electronic filing, production of reports, and checking of criteria to confirm eligibility for the services.
- To raise purchase orders and receive goods using the Business Central system.
- To manage the ordering of equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Inbox management and triage as necessary.
- Delivering events and marketing including keeping the website up to date.
- Liaise with delivery partners including contractors and surveyors.
- Support all members of the private sector housing team as required to facilitate the smooth running of the services.
