We are seeking an experienced and strategic Interim Head of Housing to provide leadership and guidance to a local authority’s housing department. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior housing professional with extensive experience in local government to drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with statutory duties, and deliver high-quality services for tenants and residents. The role is fully remote, with occasional visits to council offices as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational management of housing services, including housing needs, lettings, homelessness, and property management.
- Develop and implement housing strategies, policies, and plans aligned with local authority priorities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and best practice in housing management.
