Location: Ipswich, Town Centre - Hybrid
This role is initially a 15 month contract, with loads of great opportunity. Are you looking to build your HR career within a supportive, professional, and truly global organisation? As an HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff across the business and will support the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing job requisitions, offer approvals and contractual changes
- Handling ER cases
- Overseeing end‑to‑end processes for starters, leavers and internal changes
- Preparing contracts, new starter packs and maintaining accurate employee files
- Conducting pre‑employment checks and right‑to‑work verification
- Supporting HRBPs with ER matters such as performance, sickness and disciplinary cases
- Managing maternity, paternity and family‑friendly processes
- Monitoring HR inboxes and ensuring timely responses to employee queries
- Assisting with monthly payroll preparation
- Organising onboarding, inductions and welcome meetings for new starters
- Preparing employment references and managing reference requests
- Updating HR systems and supporting with reporting
- Providing recruitment administration support
- Handling ad‑hoc HR tasks to support the wider team
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in HR background, including ER background
- Professional and personable personality/attitude
- Experience managing employee records
