The International Recruitment (IR) Development Officer will play a key role in coordinating actions to support international recruits and care providers in Walsall. We’re looking for a motivated, creative individual with strong communication and partnership skills to help drive forward our Place-based response to international recruitment.
Working closely with commissioners, operational teams, and the provider market, the officer will:
- Coordinate pastoral support and engagement with faith and voluntary sector groups
- Develop an international recruitment toolkit and local offer
- Collaborate with regional leads and manage IR data and updates
- Support the Walsall IR Response Team in cases of licence suspension or revocation
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Strong communication and engagement skills.
- Ability to hit the ground running and manage relationships effectively.
- Experience in development roles and stakeholder management (from admin to director level).
- Understanding of the social care provider market.
- Data analysis experience.
- Social care background preferred.
- Basic DBS required.
