Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking experienced and motivated Children's Social Workers to join our Assessment Teams across East and South Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking service, where your work will directly contribute to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead statutory assessments, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
  • Undertake strategy discussions and Section 47 enquiries
  • Prepare and present detailed court reports under Sections 7, 37, and 31
  • Complete SWET assessments and develop effective care plans
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
  • Maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 20 cases
