Locum Occupational Therapist β Adult Social Care Location: Flexible / Hybrid (Local Authority based)
Rate: Β£30βΒ£50 per hour
Contract: Locum (Full-time, part-time considered)
We are currently working with a forward-thinking Local Authority to appoint an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to support their Adult Social Care service during a period of increased demand.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured team focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions that enable individuals to live independently and safely within their communities.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions across a varied caseload. This includes supporting adults with complex needs, implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with wider multi-disciplinary teams.
You will play a key role in promoting independence, reducing risk, and ensuring appropriate provision of equipment and adaptations in line with legislative frameworks.
Work collaboratively with social workers, housing teams, and health colleagues
Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
Experience working within Adult Social Care in a local authority setting
Experience working with Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs)
Knowledge of housing adaptations and major works
Previous experience in community-based roles
Familiarity with local authority case management systems
