Due to our continued expansion in Bermuda, we are looking to grow our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a boutique, client-led advisory practice with strong UK roots, international reach and a growing offshore presence. The role offers exposure to a varied portfolio of formal insolvency, restructuring, forensic and related advisory assignments across corporate and personal assignments.
About the Role
Working as part of our Bermuda team, you will support the delivery and day-to-day administration of a broad range of insolvency and restructuring tasks. You will be involved in case progression, assisting with statutory compliance, external communication, reporting, investigation and asset realisation work. This is a great opportunity for candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience and keen to build a career in restructuring, insolvency and forensic while being also involved in the business from start.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and progress insolvency and restructuring cases on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of senior team members and Partners.
- Prepare case documentation, statutory forms, reports, correspondence and supporting schedules accurately, to meet required date deadlines.
- Maintain case diary lines, monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
- Liaise professionally with directors, creditors, debtors, legal advisers, agents, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Assist with investigations, claims agreement, asset realisations, distributions and case closure procedures.
- Review financial information and case records to support decision-making, reporting and recoveries work.
- Contribute to the smooth running of multiple assignments, ensuring work is prioritised effectively and files are kept up to date.
About You
- Previous insolvency administration experience is essential.
- Experience of a range of case types, such as liquidations, administrations, receiverships, restructurings or related contentious matters, is highly desirable.
- Exposure to both UK and offshore jurisdictions would be advantageous.
- CPI qualified is preferred; we will also consider candidates working towards a recognised insolvency qualification.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team in a growing office.
