As a Payroll administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing various payroll functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Payroll (CIS): Cross-referencing weekly time sheets with attendance registers. Addressing discrepancies with line managers. Handling deductions and notifications. Generating weekly CIS payments reports. Notifying payroll of new starters and leavers. Completing cross check monthly PAYE attendance reports.
- General Administration: Managing the sign-in book. Support with pension administration. Support with benefits administration. Support the team leader with confidential information for payroll advice meetings.
- Holidays and Sickness: Maintaining holiday calendars.
Typical Skills & Experience β Essential:
- Payroll administration experience.
- Strong numerical accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Confidential and trustworthy.
- CIPP qualification or working towards.
- Construction or utilities sector experience.
- Experience supporting HR administration.
