As a high-growth startup employing 130 talented professionals, they have developed an AI driven R&D platform used by the world's leading Chemists, Material Scientists and Biologists to dramatically accelerate how new products are discovered, developed and brought to market. My client works with an enviable selection of R&D clients across chemicals, pharmaceuticals, advanced materials and food and beverages.
Due to continued, fast and strategic expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Solutions Engineer to join their fast-paced pre-sales team in London. The key responsibilities for your new role as Solutions Engineer are as follows:
- Partner closely with Account Executives and champion Stakeholders to drive value-based selling and close net new revenue.
- Lead technical evaluations and demo sessions, telling compelling stories about how the platform transforms R&D data management and innovation.
- Write scripts and configure integrations on the platform's integration server as needed to support custom prospect engagements.
- Spend 20-25% of your time travelling to meet with prospects and deliver on-site presentations and workshops.
My client is keen to speak to people with strong scientific backgrounds (chemistry, material science or chemical engineering) and the soft skills to be the technical face of their team. An advanced degree (MSc/PhD) is strongly preferred.
In return, my client is offering an excellent salary circa £65,000 with extremely high on-target earnings of up to £150,000.
