Having been established for over 50 years, my metal processing client is a secure organisation with an outstanding reputation in their marketplace. They have a bursting orderbook which is the success of spending decades developing an outstanding reputation across the aerospace, marine and premium automotive industries, and are well-known for their exceptionally high product standards.
Due to continued, strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join them and play a key role in the smooth running of equipment including modern CNC and Wax Injection Moulding machines.
In your new role as a Maintenance Engineer, you will support the smooth running of the factory, resolving breakdowns and delivering planned maintenance. You will also drive improvements across the site to ensure quality and performance are maximised.
My client is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias, along with some metalwork, fabrication and welding experience. Regardless of previous expertise however, you will be a team player, by nature, have an excellent eye for detail and be comfortable working in fast-moving manufacturing environments.
In return, my client is offering a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 plus benefits, dependent on experience, with future opportunities to progress within the organisation being readily available for those who want it. This is a day role with working hours of 7.45am - 4.15pm, Monday - Friday. You will also need to be flexible to work on a Saturday, as and when required (overtime rate applies).
