An opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Technician to join them and specialise in the heat treatment of steel and non-ferrous parts for aerospace and engineering industries.
Reporting into the Quality Manager, you will be working in a small team responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in the control and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
The key responsibilities for you new role as Quality Technician are as follows: Handling non-conformities, complaints and concessions.
Routine documentation checks to support the quality function.
Assisting the purchasing function for testing and calibration requirements.
Promoting awareness of customer requirements.
Managing customer approvals.
My client is keen to find someone with a background in quality system requirements for aerospace engineering practices, procedures and standards; as well as experience in ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
Knowledge of Nadcap and CQI-9 for special processes would be advantageous; although not essential.
Regardless of previous expertise, you will have excellent attention to detail, as well as strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £27,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience), plus a benefits package including a bonus, company matched pension (up to 8%), health scheme, cycle to work scheme and EV salary sacrifice scheme.
You will also receive 24 days holiday per annum plus Bank holidays with additional holidays for qualifying length of service.
