A rare opporttunity to join a well-established business that is part of a larger multinational group that specialise in the manufacture of high precision, high-value components for international markets in a modern facility with the latest in plant and equipment. Duties: * Setting and operating a range of 3 axis CNC Millers with Fanuc controlls * Machines include both vertical and horizontal millers * Occasional use of CAD/CAM (training provided) * Manufacturing high value components, all one off and small batch. * All 2nd op machining on a variety of materials including steel, brass, cast iron and stainless steel * Working to drawings provided ensuring all work is of the highest standard. * Promoting good housekeeping for an efficient working environment. Experience Required * Experienced in programming on Fanuc controls. * Ability to use CAD/CAM (Not essential) * Suitable candidates should be fully experienced in the relevant discipline’s and be able to demonstrate specific product and technical knowledge. * Able to self inspect using micrometers, vernier’s, depth micrometers etc. * Minimum 2 years experience in programming and setting of CNC millers * Working Hours: * Monday 22.00 – 07.30 * Tuesday 21.30 – 07.30 * Wednesday 21.30 – 07.30 * Thursday 21.30 – 07.30 * Overtime available at premium rates. * An excellent range of benefits including generous pension, life cover, share scheme and more This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Opus Engineering.
