Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO/CO Senior Consultant or a 6-month initial contract to play a pivotal role in a Greenfield S/4HANA & RISE with SAP implementation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, configuring, and leading the Controlling (CO) stream from initial blueprinting through execution. You will work closely with finance stakeholders and enterprise leadership to architect standard-led, best-practice solutions for cost accounting, profitability analysis, and managerial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of the SAP Controlling (CO) module within a Greenfield S/4HANA environment hosted on RISE with SAP.
- Core CO Configuration: Hands-on experience and architectural oversight across key CO sub-modules: + Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM-CCA) and Internal Orders (CO-OM-OPA) + Product Costing (CO-PC): Standard cost estimates, actual costing, and Material Ledger setup. + Profitability Analysis (CO-PA): Margin Analysis/Account-based CO-PA integration with Universal Journal ( $ACDOCA$ ). + Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA) and Segment Reporting.
- FI/CO Integration: Ensure seamless integration between General Ledger ( $FI-GL$ ), Asset Accounting ( $FI-AA$ ), Accounts Payable/Receivable ( $AP/AR$ ), and logistics modules ( $SD, MM, PP$ ).
- S/4HANA Best Practices: Drive adoption of standard S/4HANA model company processes and SAP Fiori analytical tools, minimizing custom enhancements ( $RICEFW$ ).
- Data & Migration: Guide data mapping, conversion strategies, and historical data extraction/loading for CO master and transactional data.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex managerial accounting concepts into clear technical specs and executive communications for finance leaders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO implementation experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle Greenfield S/4HANA projects.
- Deep Domain Expertise in SAP CO: Strong expertise in Product Costing (CO-PC) and Margin Analysis/CO-PA.
- Proven exposure to RISE with SAP deployment frameworks and S/4HANA Cloud (Private/Public) architectures.
- Experience with Universal Journal ( $ACDOCA$ ) architecture, Material Ledger integration, and modern SAP Fiori apps.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, revenue recognition ( $RAR/IFRS 15$ ), and transfer pricing mechanisms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, drive design decisions, and produce functional specifications
