Customer‑Facing Engineering – CNC Router Installation & Training
A customer‑facing engineering role focused on CNC router installations, commissioning, troubleshooting and hands‑on training at customer sites across the UK.
Full‑time UK travel required.
Salary from £35,000, depending on experience, with an installation bonus scheme up to £150 per install.
Key responsibilities
- Lead CNC router installations at customer sites.
- Carry out system testing, calibration and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
- Provide customer training on safe operation and maintenance.
- Maintain clear documentation of installations and customer interactions.
- What we are looking for
- Experience installing CNC routers or similar complex machinery.

Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Liaise with directors and engineers to plan and schedule jobs.
- Maintain records, databases and customer information.
- Support the smooth running of the office with general administration.
- Help coordinate communication between customers and the engineering team.
- What we are looking for
- Strong telephone manner and clear communication skills.
- Experience in planning or scheduling is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
