The SDR role will be a key part of a fast growing, high performing team where you will have the opportunity to develop your career in sales.
Our SDRs understand that the phone is their friend and essential in building a solid pipeline of booked meetings with prospects who sit within our ideal customer profiles. They creatively use multi-touch outbound techniques to entice and attract prospects to Opus. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with and learning from the other SDRs in the team as well as your direct sales manager who has a wealth of experience to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive booked meetings with prospects.
- Gaining industry knowledge and vendor training to research & develop accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and identify compelling events.
- Generating new business opportunities to fuel Opus' pipeline.
- Prospecting to companies via cold calling, email sequences, social selling on LinkedIn.
- Learning & maintaining in-depth knowledge of Opus' core services and vendor solutions.
- Understanding Opus' Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) who they are and how they buy.
- Managing, tracking, and reporting on all activities and results using Microsoft Dynamic CRM.
- Exceeding monthly/quarterly targets for Booked Meetings.
Salary c£30k DOE + up to £12k OTE. 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays. Hybrid working for a good work/life balance.

- A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role e.g., SDR, BDR, Telesales, or you might be a recruiter looking to shift industries or already working in a lead generation agency.
- Enjoys calling prospects on the phone and have cold called previously.
- Keen to embrace new technology and sales tools.
- Experience of utilising prospecting tools (e.g. SalesLoft or Outreach) and creating sequences.
- Experience of using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or social selling desirable.
- Some knowledge of the Print Management & Document industry desirable.
- A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements.
- Experience with CRM platforms having used one previously.
