The Edinburgh Office & Engagement Manager is the engine that keeps our Edinburgh office running smoothly and the heart that keeps its culture beating. You’ll own the day-to-day operations of the office while playing an active role in making Opus 2 a genuinely great place to work. You’ll work closely with your counterpart, our London Office & Global Engagement Manager, to bring consistency across our UK offices, share ideas, and collaborate on company-wide initiatives — from DE&I and CSR to events and employee experience. Together, you’ll help make Opus 2 the kind of company people are proud to work for. What you'll be doing

  • Daily Operations & Facilities: Manage the day-to-day running of the Edinburgh office, keeping things smooth, efficient, and welcoming for the whole team. Act as the main point of contact for building management, handling facilities issues, maintenance, and service coordination. Oversee meeting room bookings and ensure spaces are always fit for purpose. Manage office planning, desk layouts, and workspace optimisation as the team grows. Provide support for any satellite offices or remote workers across Scotland or England.
  • Health & Safety: Own Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and First Aid compliance for the Edinburgh office. Maintain accurate documentation, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate relevant training.
  • Supplier & Budget Management: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective purchasing. Keep office supplies, equipment, and services well-stocked and running smoothly.
  • Administration & People Support: Support the executive team and local leadership team with coordination, administration, and oversight on key projects or initiatives. Support travel booking queries via showing people how to self-serve on our platform Navan for internal and external staff. Provide on the ground support to the People, Finance, and IT teams as needed. Lead the induction and onboarding experience for new Edinburgh starters whilst working close with the People team, making sure they feel welcomed and set up for success from day one. Partnering with the People team for consistent communication across Slack and other internal channels. Contribute to the monthly company newsletter and ad hoc internal communications. Support promotion of employee benefits across the Edinburgh office. Support the annual Impact Report by gathering data and key information.
  • Cultural & Internal Engagement: Be an active, visible presence in the Edinburgh office — someone the team genuinely enjoys being around. Partner with your London counterpart to align on engagement approaches, share what’s working, and jointly drive initiatives that make Opus 2 a brilliant place to work across all locations. Work with managers to plan and deliver team lunches, engagement activities, and morale-boosting moments throughout the year. Coordinate ongoing engagement including weekly quizzes, Slack prompts, and office-based initiatives. Help strengthen Edinburgh’s distinct identity within the wider Opus 2 culture.
  • Events: Plan and deliver Edinburgh social events including seasonal parties, owning budget, logistics, vendor management, and communications. Collaborate with the London Office Manager on UK-wide events and share best practice.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Support CSR groups and contribute to Opus 2’s charitable and community commitments. Help organise volunteer days and manage relationships with local charities and community partners. Champion and promote fundraising campaigns across the Edinburgh office. Work with the Marketing team to highlight CSR stories and pro-bono initiatives.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I): Support the People team in delivering DE&I programmes and awareness campaigns. Assist with cultural observances and DE&I ad hoc projects.

Hours: 9.00 – 17.30 Monday to Friday.
