A growing construction focused software platform is hiring a hands-on Quality Assurance Analyst / Data Quality Specialist to sit between product, engineering, and customer teams and make sure its numbers can be trusted for real world decisions in the built environment.

The opportunity:

  • Own the logical backbone of the product and how inputs, scenarios and edge cases are defined so outputs stand up to commercial, project and reporting scrutiny.
  • Safeguard the quality of core datasets (carbon, materials and related inputs), including how sources are selected, versioned and maintained for consistency over time.
  • Work embedded in an Agile product squad, turning real user journeys from contractors and clients into structured test cases, acceptance criteria and UAT plans.
  • Act as the point person when issues are raised by customers or internal teams, tracing problems through to root cause and translating them into clear defects or product improvements.

Experience needed:

  • Experience in the built environment and carbon/sustainability context, ideally with exposure to contractor side delivery or major projects.
  • Strong data literacy and comfortable interrogating calculations, challenging assumptions and explaining the impact of design and material choices on carbon and related metrics.
  • Background in roles such as Business Analyst (data or product), Data Quality Analyst, QA Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar.
  • Track record working with software product and engineering teams in an Agile environment, collaborating on tickets, test scenarios and releases.

Your value add:

  • Direct line of sight from your work to better project decisions, lower carbon, and stronger audit/regulatory confidence.
  • Chance to shape how a specialist platform in the construction space embeds quality and assurance into its core product, not as an afterthought.

If you are UK based and your experience blends quality assurance, product, data quality and the built environment, you can show interest by applying or sending your CV directly.
