Join us as we migrate a major legacy data centre—comprising 93 individual services—to a modern, scalable cloud platform on AWS by the end of 2025. You’ll play a key role in designing, securing, and optimising the network landscape to support this cloud migration. This is a high-profile project, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless, secure transition.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll be responsible for ensuring robust, secure, and scalable network operations throughout the migration of services from our on-premise data centre to AWS.
  • You’ll collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to deliver reliable connectivity and protection across hybrid environments.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the migration and re-architecture of on-premise network infrastructure to the cloud
  • Designing and maintaining secure, high-performing network configurations using Juniper and Cisco technologies
  • Managing load balancing and traffic optimisation to ensure service continuity and performance
  • Implementing and maintaining DNS, firewall, IPS/IDS, and DDoS solutions within a hybrid infrastructure

We’re looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently when needed.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Expert in enterprise WAN, LAN, and WLAN, with Juniper and Cisco stacks
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS and Azure)
  • Strong understanding of firewalls, load balancers, IPS/IDS, and DDoS protection
  • Hands-on experience with SDN technologies (NSX experience a plus)
  • Skilled in DNS management and network automation practices
