We are looking for a Data Analyst with SQL and data visualisation skills to join our talented and innovative team. This role sits within a part of the UK Advisory team responsible for taking large data sets from various sources and converting them into meaningful insights. Your main focus will be on population health management. You will work closely with our advisory & consultancy colleagues, as well as the clinical team, to provide both analysis and informed opinions on analytical solutions.

What you’ll do
We believe in the power of technology to make healthcare faster, better, and more accessible to all, and therefore you will play a key part in supporting us in making it happen! With this role you must make recommendations based on analysis and provide explanations to our internal and external customers. Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
- Use business intelligence, data visualisation, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions.
- Interpret and analyse health and care data in a linked-data solution, to provide analytical support for NHS decision makers.
- Make recommendations based on your analysis.
- Create, test and utilise visualisations.
- Support product development as an analytics SME.
- Translate technical concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences, both verbally and in writing.
Who you’ll be
You will have experience working as a Data Analyst with Excel, SQL and you will be comfortable working in a team. We want you to be able to have a growth mindset, take ownership and accountability for what you are doing and be keen to learn new skills. Here, we are advocates for promoting the ability to think freely and creatively. We want you to have a curious nature, looking at improvements and efficiencies.
Other key skills we are looking for you to demonstrate include:
- Strong experience performing data analysis and report development.
- Experience combining analytic methods with advanced data visualisations.

- Python (preferred), RStudio or other statistics package experience.
- SQL (MS SQL Server or Databricks preferred).
