We’re excited to share that we are looking for a commercially focused Account Manager to join our Pharmacy and Medicines Commercial Team. If you are someone with a passion for customer relationships, business development, and healthcare innovation—and you\’re based in the North of England—then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
You will be joining a high-performing team that works across the Community Pharmacy space, helping to deliver impactful solutions that improve patient outcomes and drive commercial success. Reporting into one of our Commercial Managers, you’ll benefit from a supportive onboarding process and ongoing development opportunities.
What you’ll do
Our Pharmacy and Medicines team is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where we focus on delivering value to our customers while having fun along the way! You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of pharmacy accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and solution selling.
Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and attend regular forecast reviews
- Manage inbound enquiries, campaign leads, and referrals using our CRM system
- Execute the full sales cycle from qualification to close, including demos, negotiations, and contracts
- Proactively call prospects to generate interest and build relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
- Provide high-quality documentation and governance throughout the sales process
Who you’ll be
You will have previous experience in account management or business development, ideally within technology, software, or healthcare sectors. You’ll be confident managing multiple priorities and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Other skills and experience we are looking for you to demonstrate include:
- Understanding of the sales lifecycle and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience managing customer expectations and delivering value
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial and customer data trends
