We are seeking a Bid & Proposal Content Writer to create clear, compelling written content that supports tender submissions and wider marketing and communications activity. You will work closely with Sales and internal subject matter experts to translate technical and clinical information into client‑focused responses and materials.

What You'll Do

  • Bids & proposals: Write, edit, and format high‑quality content for RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and proposals
  • SME collaboration: Work with Sales, Clinical, and Operational SMEs to gather input and shape responses that are accurate, persuasive, and easy to understand
  • Content library: Maintain and update the bid content library, templates, and standard response materials
  • Quality & compliance: Ensure proposal content reflects brand, compliance, and quality standards
  • Marketing & capability documentation: Develop and maintain capability statements, service descriptions, case studies, and brochures; ensure materials align with current organisational messaging and service updates
  • Social & digital content: Produce social media posts across multiple platforms and support digital campaigns focused on brand awareness, recruitment, and thought leadership
  • Internal & client communications: Write monthly health awareness bulletins and produce quarterly newsletters featuring service updates, employee stories, project highlights, and key business achievements
  • General content support: Support ad hoc content needs (e.g., website updates, presentations, briefing notes) and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery
  • Governance: Ensure content is compliant with branding, legal, and regulatory requirements

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in content writing, marketing communications, technical writing, or bid/proposal writing
  • Demonstrated excellent written communication skills, with the ability to tailor tone and complexity to different audiences
  • Demonstrated solid research skills and ability to interpret complex technical and clinical information
  • Proven experience producing content for business development or commercial functions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and work independently
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with content management tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven previous experience writing for healthcare, medical, energy, or remote services sectors
  • Demonstrable experience in RFP/bid writing or supporting proposal submissions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of brand messaging, digital marketing, and corporate communications
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEO principles and digital analytics (beneficial, not required)
