We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This remote working role meets every 6 weeks in the Leeds office. Location: Leeds, England, United Kingdom.
What You’ll Do
As an Environmental Manager, you will manage the delivery of our Net Zero transition plan, working closely with our Head of Sustainability and wider organisation to ensure alignment across our objectives. You’ll oversee emissions reduction initiatives across all scopes and manage key environmental reporting requirements. A key part of your role will be to project‑manage the annual emissions analysis process, working with the wider business and our customers to ensure accurate data gathering and processing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing annual emissions data processing, overseeing monthly environmental data workflows and ensuring timely reporting to the Head of Sustainability and SLT.
- Producing accurate disclosures in line with regulatory frameworks and preparing for future requirements.
- Supporting ISO 14001 certification and ensuring our Environmental Management System meets compliance standards.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver environmental strategies and science‑aligned transition plans and broader commitments.
- Reviewing and updating environmental compliance training and promoting employee engagement through sustainability initiatives.
Who You’ll Be
You bring solid experience in environmental management with a clear focus on sustainability and a proven ability to deliver sustainability strategies. Collaboration will be second nature to you—you will demonstrate an ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders to gather information and support sustainability objectives. With excellent organisational and communication skills, you’ll be confident in managing complex reporting requirements and driving continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated solid grounding in environmental management and sustainability.
- Proven experience in project management and strategic delivery for Net Zero, including emissions analysis and disclosures.
- Proven knowledge of environmental frameworks.
- Demonstrated solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and apply it to compliance frameworks.
