We are currently looking for a Regional Product Specialist to join our Sales team in Norway. This role will primarily cover Norway and the Nordic region but may sometimes also be required to support customers in other European markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated Sales team working for a company who are the world leaders in retinal imaging products. We are looking for a dynamic Regional Product Specialist to deliver engaging, value-added product training to our customers through both remote and in-person sessions. In this role, you’ll also play a key part in enhancing the technical and clinical expertise of our sales team by providing training, coaching, and mentoring that drives confidence and success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the subject matter expert on all devices, delivering comprehensive training to customers and the sales organization, remotely and in person.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for the full Optos portfolio.
- Provide support at marketing events and trade shows as required.
- Offer consultation and technical expertise in large hospital settings.
- Assist optometry schools with training and support when needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion to achieve business objectives.
- Proven success in dynamic, fast-paced business environments.
Technical & Clinical Expertise
- Deep understanding of retinal anatomy and pathology.
- Knowledge of optometric and ophthalmic clinical practices, workflows, and efficiencies.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver product solutions and training.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional communication and training delivery skills.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Willing and able to travel extensively, including some overnight stays.
- Ability to quickly assimilate complex information.
- Building strong customer relationships and improving their productivity and efficiency.
- Working under pressure to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining high standards.
Technology & Tools
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
