The role
Do you have a proven track record of carrying out repairs and maintenance works? Then this may just be the perfect role for you! We’re looking to bring on board a Multi Trade Technician specialising in Plumbing or Carpentry, who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Your main base will be Bow, with regular travel required across East London and Essex. A company van will be provided.
You will be an essential member of the Direct Repairs department providing a comprehensive, efficient, and responsive property service delivery. You will provide clear structure and support to operatives and other members of your team in managing repairs effectively from issue to completion and final quality assurance. You will successfully deliver the works required to a high quality, as detailed within the order, to maximise first time fix criteria, appointment objectives, and enhance resident satisfaction, with efficient working practices.
What you’ll have:
- Experience as a Plumber or Carpenter.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A ‘one team’, team spirited ethos.
- A full UK driving licence with no more than six points and no serious motoring offences in the last 10 years (i.e., CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, MR, TT).
- A minimum of two years driving experience.
We will undertake driving licence checks on the successful candidate as part of our standard pre-employment checks process.
