Company: OptiRank – part of METTLER TOLEDO, a global leader in precision instruments and services. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Field Sales Specialist to join our Product Inspection (PI) team, based in the southeast of the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of a broad range of products and services tailored specifically for Food and Pharma manufacturers.
  • Understand customer needs to develop and implement effective go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Support product adoption across various manufacturing applications.
  • Build and maintain long‑term, high‑value, profitable customer accounts.
  • Apply strong sales techniques to develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify and manage high‑quality sales opportunities collaboratively, making full use of available resources.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Sales or business development experience, preferably within the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of food and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, with the capability to clearly communicate value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage customers, identify their challenges, and offer effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on relationship building and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently, showing initiative and strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience in creating sales strategies or playbooks is an advantage.
