Options was founded in 1993 because there was a need for a better model of support for people with disabilities. The model of support that we offer is very different to the models that were used in the past, before we existed. People with disabilities were often living in long-stay institutions or large residential homes, with little-to-no autonomy over their lives. They were seen as people with disabilities living in a building, rather than people with disabilities who have value, aspirations, and want to live a full life.

Options Working Values:

  • We are creative collaborators
  • We are courageous advocates
  • We are passionately committed
  • We are curious learners

Options Vision:

A better world where people with disabilities contribute as unique and valued members of dynamic and inclusive communities.

Options Mission:

To support, empower and enable people with disabilities to live their lives to the full.

We are proud to have achieved a Fair Employment Charter Accredited Level. We are committed to a workplace that is healthy, fair, inclusive and just.

Role Purpose:

The Corporate Partnerships Specialist will play a pivotal role in delivering Options’ income-generation targets by expanding the organisation’s commercial and corporate engagement. This role is pivotal in growing revenue from consultancy, training, sponsorship, and commercial services.

The postholder will lead on developing, packaging, and promoting corporate-facing income streams including:

  • Corporate consultancy and training packages
  • Space hire (St Nicholas House and Hamilton Street)
  • Paid places at workshops, training, and events
  • Corporate sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Cause-related marketing campaigns

This role is central to positioning Options as a provider of specialist knowledge, social value, and professional training to businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Corporate Partnership Development
    • Identify, cultivate, and secure corporate partnerships, including Charity of the Year, CSR/ESG programmes, sponsorships, and commercial collaborations.
    • Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and partnership packages tailored to business audiences.
    • Maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities, proactively sourcing leads and converting interest into income.
    • Deliver first-class stewardship to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
    • Maximise opportunities for in-kind support, skill-sharing, and employee volunteering.
  2. Commercial Income Generation
    • Promote and sell consultancy and training offers, working with internal teams to understand product value and pricing models.
    • Grow income from rentable spaces, facilities, and event packages across Options’ sites.
    • Increase event attendance by targeting business audiences and selling paid places and sponsorship.
    • Contribute to the development of commercial packages aligned with disability inclusion and community impact.
  3. Cross-Organisational Collaboration
    • Support Marketing & Fundraising: enhancing brand visibility, strengthening corporate communications, and developing professional sales materials.
    • Support Community & Inclusion: facilitating corporate volunteering, brokering partnerships that bring added value to community programmes, and supporting joint campaigns.
    • Support Training & Events: promoting training programmes, supporting sales, and engaging businesses with Options’ specialist knowledge offer.
  4. Networking, Profile Building & Representation
    • Represent Options at business networks, events, conferences, and sector forums.
    • Build Options’ profile among key business sectors, acting as an ambassador for the organisation’s values and expertise.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CSR, ESG trends, corporate philanthropy, and commercial partnership opportunities.
  5. Relationship Management & Reporting
    • Manage relationships with senior leaders, HR teams, ESG/CSR leads, and marketing departments across partner organisations.
    • Ensure partnership plans, agreements, communication schedules, and financial processes are in place and well-managed.
    • Work with internal teams to provide impact reporting, case studies, and partnership performance updates.
    • Maintain accurate CRM records and support income forecasting.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
