The Role

We’re looking for driven and enthusiastic Graduate and Placement Technical Support Engineers to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who’s eager to dive into real‑world technical challenges, learn from industry experts, and make a genuine impact.

Your journey begins with a 3‑week training programme in our Belfast office, where you’ll get hands‑on with our systems, explore our technical support workflows, and build a strong foundation in how we deliver for our clients.

You’ll shadow experienced engineers, take part in interactive learning sessions, and quickly become a valuable member of the team.

Please note as a graduate, placement, intern or apprentice you will be expected to work from the office on a full‑time basis for at least the first 12 months of your employment.

During your initial 3 weeks, you will

  • Dive into our core technologies and system architecture.
  • Work through guided hands‑on sessions with real support scenarios.
  • Learn how to approach customer challenges with confidence.
  • Get up to speed with our internal tools, ticketing systems, and processes.
  • Watch experienced engineers in action and gradually take on responsibilities.
  • Build the foundations to grow into a skilled, well‑rounded support engineer.

Why Join Us?

Options Graduate and Placement programme is multi‑award winning and has spent more than a decade becoming one of the most respected launchpads in the industry.

Participants are fast‑tracked through a learning experience that blends technical depth with genuine career acceleration.

With continuous refinement over 10+ years, the programme consistently upskills ambitious graduates into high‑impact professionals.

  • A structured onboarding experience that sets you up for success.
  • Real hands‑on technical exposure from day one.
  • Opportunities to learn from teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Potential to travel and connect with colleagues and clients around the world.
  • A supportive, friendly environment that encourages your development.

You will have the chance to collaborate with specialists across cyber security, software development, web development, cloud engineering, and market data.

You’ll broaden your technical toolkit, gain exposure to cutting‑edge technologies, and learn how different teams come together to solve complex problems.

You will quickly see opportunities to travel to our global offices and clients in some of the world’s most exciting cities, including New York, Chicago, Toronto, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Auckland, Dubai, Sydney, London, Paris, and beyond.

During and after your training, you will

  • Build a solid understanding of our systems, tools, and products.
  • Develop strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Shadow experienced engineers to gain real‑world technical insight.
  • Support in diagnosing and resolving customer issues with guidance.
  • Learn how we operate, from workflows to escalation paths.

  • We welcome applications from graduates and students from a broad range of disciplines including those with technical and engineering backgrounds, as well as science, business, mathematics, marketing and finance.
  • Naturally curious, proactive, and excited to learn.
  • A strong communicator with a passion for problem‑solving.
  • Ready to thrive in a dynamic, team‑focused environment.
