Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Water Treatment Engineer to deliver water compliance and treatment services across a mobile portfolio. This role is suited to an experienced technician with strong knowledge of L8 / HSG274 compliance, capable of carrying out both planned and reactive water treatment tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver water treatment and compliance services across multiple sites as a mobile engineer
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits using appropriate tools and systems
- Accurately complete work reports via electronic systems or day work sheets
- Ensure all L8 logbooks are up to date and compliant when acting as the primary technician
- Represent the business professionally when attending client sites
Candidate Requirements
- City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent qualification relevant to water treatment (aligned to Tier level)
- Post-qualification experience within water treatment / water hygiene
- Up-to-date knowledge of: Water Supply Regulations / Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and related guidance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS with Barred Lists (essential)
