Shift Leader – Corporate Engineering Environment (Continental Shift) We are seeking a highly motivated and technically curious Shift Leader to support the smooth operation of a prestigious, high-profile corporate environment in London. This is a hands-on role, acting as the right hand to the Shift Leader, combining technical expertise with operational and supervisory responsibility. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, technology-led setting where occupant comfort, precision, and service delivery are just as important as engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities Support the Shift Leader with day-to-day operations, both hands-on and supervisory Operate, monitor, and maintain building services plant across mechanical and electrical disciplines Act as HVAP (High Voltage Authorised Person) on site (site-authorised, not AP15 only) Issue, control, and manage permits to work in line with safety procedures Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, minimising disruption to occupants Respond to client requests with a customer-first mindset, prioritising comfort and reliability Use multiple IT-driven systems for monitoring, reporting, and task management Coordinate subcontractors and ensure adherence to site standards and procedures Maintain accurate maintenance, testing, and authorisation records via CAFM/CMMS systems Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including system performance and energy efficiency Skills & Experience Fully site-authorised HVAP status (essential) Strong background in building services engineering (mechanical and electrical) Experience working in a corporate or commercial environment (not data centres only) IT-literate, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies Technically curious with a desire to broaden skills across disciplines Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with clients, contractors, and colleagues Proactive, flexible, and calm under pressure with a strong problem-solving approach Working Pattern Continental shift pattern (days and nights) Participation in shift handovers, emergency response, and site cover as required Why Join?
