Options resourcing are working with one of Bristol's leading local contractors to recruit a Contract Manager to manage projects across their client portfolio. With schemes ranging from new build to refurbishment, and across the leisure, residential, retail and education sectors, their order book is healthy with secured work with repeat clients and negotiated contracts.
You will be joining a growing team with experience gleaned from decades of work in the industry both locally to Bristol and the greater South West Region. With ease of communication from site to Director, you will be able to have a tangible effect on both tender and delivery of your projects, allowing you real ownership of your work. As with any growing company, there is opportunity to develop, and as such this role would be an ideal opportunity to step up from Site Manager to Contract Manager.
As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for running multiple projects throughout Bristol and the South West, having a hand in design, negotiation of scope of works, and managing the client relationship as work is delivered.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Operational responsibility for your projects
- Progress reports internally and with clients
- Planning works to ensure smooth delivery and anticipating pinch points
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met in the delivery of the project protecting both your employer and client
- Liaise with all project stakeholders to ensure the smooth running and delivery of the project
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience running multiple projects valuing between £3 - 6m in total
- Self-starting mentality coupled with excellent teamwork
- Familiarity with industry standard software and systems
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Qualifications
Your Package:
- Salary between £60000 - £65000 depending on experience
- Car Allowance
