We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team in London. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creative design, structural analysis, and working on complex and prestigious projects. You will contribute to innovative designs while developing your professional skills towards Chartership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver structural engineering projects.
- Prepare parametric models, structural analysis models, detailed calculations, sketches, and specifications.
- Work with common structural materials as well as less conventional or experimental materials.
- Apply appropriate engineering software to support design and analysis.
- Gain exposure to a variety of sectors, gradually taking on greater responsibility and autonomy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- MEng degree (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience in a similar role, working effectively as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, finite element modelling, and structural design.
- Proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper; coding knowledge (C#, Python) is a plus but not required.
- Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong collaborative skills with excellent communication, both written and verbal, for working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented attitude with the ability to use initiative to overcome challenges.
