A leading facilities management provider is currently recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to support a portfolio of school sites across Didcot, Oxford, and Wokingham.
Working as part of a mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a number of educational facilities. The successful candidate will have a broad range of building fabric skills, experience carrying out day-to-day PPMs, and be comfortable working independently across multiple sites.
Package Includes:
- Salary up to £35,000 per annum
- Company Van & Fuel Card
- Monday to Friday, Days (08:00 - 17:00)
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

- Call-Out Rota (approximately 1 in 5 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:
- General building fabric maintenance
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks
- Painting, decorating, and making-good works
- Carpentry repairs including doors, locks, handles, skirting, and furniture
- Minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Basic mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
- Replacing lamps and small electrical components
- Emergency lighting checks
- Ceiling tile and flooring repairs
- Basic patch plastering and repairs
- Mechanical pump checks and basic maintenance
- Supporting M&E engineers where required
- Ensuring all works completed in line with health and safety procedures
- Providing excellent customer service to site staff and stakeholders
Desirable:
- Experience working on school contracts
- TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) experience
- Candidates willing to undertake TMV training (fully funded by the company)
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- Basic mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
- Health & Safety qualifications
- Water Hygiene / L8 awareness
